It Takes a Village
HIGH Any of the overwhelming boss fights against huge foes.
LOW A glitch that left me unable to drop the person I was carrying.
WTF No, I’m the idiot for not realizing I was supposed to make a battleaxe at the loom.
I’m holding out hope that IO Interactive’s new version of Hitman ends up being successful. It’s already getting good reviews. As I’m writing this, Chapter 1 has a 77 on Metacritic, Chapter 2 has an 84 and Chapter 3 has a 75 for the Playstation 4 versions. Those aren’t extraordinary scores, but this is without a doubt the best Hitman has been since series favorite Blood Money, which launched a decade ago.
From Square-Enix PR: The next Elusive Target will go live on July 15th. The target is Dylan Narvaez, aka ‘The Twin’, who will be in Sapienza for 72 hours. His identical twin brother, Gonzales is also in Sapienza and must not be harmed in any way or the contract will be cancelled.
Elusive Target Contracts make changes to the existing locations and use advanced AI behaviour to create a more believable and challenging experience for players. So players cannot rely solely on what they already know from the location or on any routines from the characters in the sandbox locations. Elusive Targets are designed to be difficult and ‘The Twin’ is arguably the toughest one yet..!
HIGH Feels like a love letter to fans
LOW Save restrictions in secondary game modes
WTF NPCs still referencing a target and not reacting much after he’s been killed
HIGH It's an infinite-use jetpack!
LOW Always turning too slow to shoot drones behind me.
WTF Why are targets only highlighted sometimes??
HIGH It's only as hand-holding as players want it to be.
LOW Weird bugs destroying perfectly-planned progress.
WTF Sometimes I can manually save, and sometimes I can't? Huh?
